Is Skype available for BlackBerry® devices?

                   Most blackberry users find it difficult to install Skype on their devices. This is because Skype does not support  BB OS 6 or 7 devices like bold 5 and others lower devices. 

                 So which Blackberry devices supports Skype?
                             Skype can work on BlackBerry smartphone powered by the BlackBerry 10 platform. You can download Skype for free from the BlackBerry World application store.

                     From the above post, you can deduce that Skype will only work on your BB device that's if you have BB OS 10 installed. Skype also works on BlackBerry tablet which is the playbook device.
